EMERGENCY SERVICES IDENTIFICATION. A few days after I moved into my new home in Lovettsville, Virginia, I received a visit from a lovely gentleman who was a volunteer for the Lovettsville Fire and Rescue Company. He was bringing me a welcoming gift from the town of Lovettsville of a folder in which to enter emergency medical and contact information. In case of an emergency, they are trained to look on the refrigerator, or in my case, the countertop next to the refrigerator for this emergency contact guide. The cost was $20 and the proceeds go to the Lovettsville Fire & Rescue Company No. 12.
They provided me with these bright green "glow in the dark" house numbers so the fire and rescue personnel can easily and quickly locate your home.
I was provided with a very nice refrigerator magnet which holds a form for emergency phone numbers and medical information in case emergency medical help is needed. The house number can be seen from the street.
Bring the family to the Open House activities at the Lovettsville Volunteer Fire and Rescue events. The children will love it and you can make a contribution to the company.
The residents of Lovettsville are very friendly and helpful. You're going to love it here.
