I finally signed up on Twitter a couple of months ago, and I was having much fun with this new experience. I even got some support in the Rain - in the way of followers. Thank you fellow Rainers!
But alas...I forgot my password. So the fix seemed simple. Just go to the Sign In page and click the Forgot Password link. O.K. problem fixed - right? Well you need to know what email address you used for the Twitter account. I did not write down the email for the Twitter account.
After multiple rounds with Twitter trying to get my account reset to no available (they think 'scam' when you don't have your password and your associated email address), I gave up. This evening I created a new Twitter account with all new information. New hastag (@jwgprealestate), new password, new email address. And I wrote it all down this time.
The moral of the story. Be sure to keep track of your passwords and email addresses. And it's O.K. to be a little late to the party - just get there.
