Lowry Park Zoo is celebrating Father's Day Weekend, 2013, by giving Dads free admission with the purchase of their son or daughter's full price admission ticket. Dads can receive free admission on Saturday, June 15th and Sunday, June 16th as long as their son or daughter purchases their ticket on those days. Lowry Park Zoo is open from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The ticket price for children ages 3 to 11 is $19.95. Adult tickets are $24.95. In addition to animals and their habitats, there are several fun rides at the zoo. Father's Day is a great time to discover that Lowry Park Zoo is wild about dads!
Another attraction in Tampa giving free admission for Dads on Father's Day Weekend is the Florida Aquarium. So if you prefer to spend your day with Dad indoors with over 20,000 creatures, Dads get in free with one full paid admission. Admission prices are adults $21.95, seniors over 60 $18.95 and children under 12 $16.95. Children under 2 get in free. This offer can be redeemed at the onsite box office on Saturday, June 15th and Sunday, June 16, 2013. Hours are 9:30 to 5:00 p.m. Exhibits include the Wetlands Trail, Bays and Beaches, Coral Reef, and Ocean Commotion. Located at Channelside in Downtown Tampa, treat Dad to a day at the Florida Aquarium this Father's Day!
In St. Petersburg, the Tampa Bay Rays are playing at home on Father's Day. The game against the Kansas City Royals begins at 1:40 p.m. To help celebrate Father's Day, the Ticket Tandem promotion item is a one of a kind apron designed like the jerseys the players wear on the field. To receive your apron on game day, pick it up at the Redemption Center in the First Base Food Court on the 100-Level Concourse while supplies last. Also to celebrate Father's Day, the Rays Summer Concert Series continues with the Imagination Movers after the game. The concert is free to all ticket holders after the game. Rays ticket prices begin at $14 and up. Celebrate Father's Day with a baseball game and concert and the Tampa Bay Rays!
