Waveny Park is located in New Canaan, it is a 250 acre public park with tons to offer the residents of New Canaan. The original Waveny house was built in 1912 for Lewis Lapham and his family. Lapham was one of the founding members of Texaco. The land was sold to New Canaan in 1967.
