I was searching online for some craft ideas so I could make a unique and homemade gift for my husband for Father's Day.

Through my search I came across some really cute ideas!!!

I put several of them together and this is what I came up with.  The whole gift was under $20 too!

I used a 12x12 shadow box - very simple.  You can usually find these on sale at a local craft store.

Here is what you will need:

- Shadow Box (12x12 is a perfect size if you have 2 children)

- Stamp Pad (tried paint first but it didn't work well and was a mess!)  I used a stamp pad from the stamp section that was WASHABLE, the ink came right off my children's feet with a baby wipe when we were done

- Scrap Book Stock paper (pick your own colors and be creative) size 12x12

- Scrabble letters - they sell these in containers in various sizes in your local craft store

- Buttons - pick your own colors

- Shaped scissors - used to design the paper

- Poem (there are many online if you want to find a different one than I used)

 father's Day Craft

Instructions:

Start with a piece of your 12x12 scrapbook paper.  Cover your child's foot in ink from the stamp pad.  Use a scrap piece of paper and do one print (this will get off some of the excess ink).  Once you do ONE footprint on scrap paper, then carefully position your child's foot on the paper and stamp a foot print.  Repeat if you have more than one child.

Once you have your footprint(s) completed - you can then create your shadow box accordingly.  Use mine as a guide if you like - this is your chance to be creative and unique.  Let your kids help!  Good luck, Happy Father's Day!
