Looking for something to do with Dad this weekend for Father’s Day? Check out a few events that caught my eye around the Lower Mainland.
Saturday, June 15th you can head over to Coquitlam’s Lafarge Lake for the Annual Free Fishing Day. From 9am-1pm you can come try the open lake or in the netted area for beginners, with lots of opportunity to fishing. Safeway Father’s Day 15th Walk/Run for the Prostate Cancer Foundation BC at Burnaby Lake Sunday, June 15th, to register or for more information visit their website.
The Ridge Canoe & Kayak is having an open house this Sunday from 10am-5pm at Whonnock Lake Community Center (27871 113th Ave, Maple Ridge) where you can head out and try kayaks and canoes for free!
