Are Summer Sales Burning Up in Gladden Farms, Marana, AZ?
I was curious to see if our "warm" summer temperatures affect sales in Gladden Farms, Marana, AZ, so I did a little trend research. I ran the months April through September to see if there was a visible difference in stats. Here's what I found:
April | May | June | July | August | September | |
2009 | 14 | 5 | 14 | 8 | 6 | 8 |
2010 | 9 | 9 | 11 | 10 | 9 | 11 |
2011 | 10 | 14 | 15 | 9 | 9 | 14 |
2012 | 14 | 7 | 13 | 7 | 10 | 10 |
2013 | 13 | 9 | 7 | |||
Totals | 47 | 35 | 53 | 34 | 34 | 43 |
At first glance I didn't think it was that big a difference, but in adding the overall totals...you can see the numbers begin to change.
July and August experience a 5-year average of 20 less homes sold, or a 64% drop in sales in July and August from June totals...which are mostly sales in May that close about 30-40 days later.So...once the mercury rises in June, the buyers...are not out looking so much.Thinking of listing your home in Gladden Farms?
