Free Fun June 14 ABC at Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk Bands on the Beach

Woo-hoo! Tonight , Friday, June 14, 2013, is the start of the summer seasons Free Friday Night "Bands on the Beach" Concerts at the world-famous Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk.
Each group plays two shows. Kicking off the summer concert season is musical group ABC. ABC is known for the songs "The Look Of Love", "Tears Are Not Enough", "Poison Arrow" and "All Of My Heart."
If you, like me, are looking for FREE fun on the weekends this summer, mark the Fridays from June 14 through Augus

Whether you live or
work in Santa Clara, Alameda, San Mateo or Santa Cruz County, it is great fun to call some friends, pack a beach blanket, jacket and chairs then carpool over to experience the FREE Friday night concerts at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk.
Each Friday night during the summer season from June 14 through August 30, 2013, the merchants of the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk sponsor two FREE shows, one at 6:30 and one at 8:30.
The great thing is concertgoers can hear the music playing throughout the Boardwalk
Parking across the street is available and convenient, but a bit pricey at about $12. However with the parking fee is a full page of coupons go
od at the Boardwalk for games, activities and food., whether riding on the Ferris Wheel, snacking on cotton candy, sampling taffy on the wharf or just strolling barefoot through the sand on the beach.

Access to the prime seating area begins after 4 p.m.; no blankets or chairs are permitted in the ro
ped off areas before 4 p.m. The line of people actually on the beach at that time will be given first priority at prime area seating.
Please limit blanket size to 3’ x 5’ feet per person, about the size of a beach towel. Only low-back chairs are allowed; High-back chairs will be required to move to the back of the beach area. Please allow others space and a good view. (Dancers especially keep this in mind.)
Smoking (of any type, even medicinal), is not permitted on the beach or Boardwalk. Alcohol and glass are prohibited on the beach. Recording of concerts is not allowed. Please keep walkways & stairs clear; dancing permitted in front of the stage only.
