I am a desert local. That statement in and of itself means that the daily temperatures affect my body much differently than someone who is just entering into this summer inferno of the Palm Springs Valley. June gloom? No… The June gloomers from our neighboring beach communities are heading out to the desert to try and capture some warmth.
I love the heat! 110 °sounds excruciating, I know. However, there is a balmy breeze that helps to cool and the evenings and early mornings are crisp and cool. June is fantastic here in the desert. That being said, I guarantee you that my clients from San Diego, that I am showing property to today, will struggle! They will be dressed for the heat with shorts and sandals, and tank tops. I on the other hand, will be wearing a long sleeved top, one of my huge sun hats, and my car will be loaded with water.
The desert heat scares many a potential buyer away from the Palm Springs Valley . That means that if you are a serious buyer , buy yourself a big hat, dark sunglasses, and an igloo water cooler, and come on down! There are some smashing buys available during the summer. If the seller has their property for sale during the summer heat, they're probably pretty serious about selling.
If you're looking to buy or sell a Palm Springs Valley property , choose a local, heat resistant, realtor. Why? Because my blood is thinner and I can take the heat !
