What is Your Goal For the Day?|on going

Services for Real Estate Pros with NOW Sharing the life and spice of the GC one day at a time

I don't know if other real estate professionals are as easily side tracked as I am. I do get off  from time to time.

Today, I will preview  2 to 5 vacant listings in Long Beach. My long term goal is to visit each vacant listing , then venture to Pass Christian. Once I have a handle on Vacant listings here, I will move to Gulfport vacant listings.

I will take a listing flier with me and stop and drop, or call a minimum of 2 fsbos and 2 expired listings.

That should leave plenty of room for Providence to do the surprise things that always happens and to follow up with the previous days work.

Note that these are things I can do that will not be an additional marketing expense of any amount. Is anyone else working a similar plan? Please share.

I plan to post here at least every other day, even if I am posting ontop of myself.

Well, I guess I meant to start tomorrow:-) . I ended up doing seller support and comp updates. Still a useful day, just not what I planned.

The best path to success is planning your activites and tracking your success.  Although, you may want to target a few more fsbo's and expired listing leads given today's competitive market.

I agree. I will start today's plan tomorrow. Thanks for commenting, Barrett.

I have to postpone my new plan until I return from TX. I've been getting my sellers and listings settled for the short time I am away. In the mean time, my son had a car accident today. He is ok thank God! But his care is either totaled or out of commission for a very long time. I need to share my car until we know what direction the insurance company is going. However, all is not lost. I can still work, I just need to work differently from what I had planned for this time.

I'm so glad your son is OK.

I think it is great to have a plan. I also think that real life often decides that your plan isn't what is going to happen. Have your goals in sight, but remember that opportunities come in unexpected ways. You may pick up your next client at the mechanic shop!

Amy, so true. I get frustrated when I develop a plan and then get thwarted. You are so right about where your clients come from. Providence at work!
