Please share your experiences, thoughts, and issues with real estate agents blogging and their brokers reaction to the blog. Does your broker want to approve it first? Do you think the broker should have any input into the agent's blog? Is your broker supportive, negative, or apathetic? Do you know of anyone terminated for blogging or for an issue from the blog?

Its your personal business and if you should be allowed to advertise as you please. I would laugh at my broker if he/she wanted to censor my blog! Just keep their name out of it and just make sure your not giving bad advice!

Ernie, Welcome to Active Rain and I don't think my broker and many agents in our area are even aware of what a blog is. As time goes on I'm sure they will voice their opinions about what a blog should consist of. But I agree with Scott, it is your personal opinions and just realize that anyone can read it.
