Homes for Heroes is an organization that affiliates with Realtors and Mortgage lending professionals to ensure the kind act of giving back to Military personnel, firefighters, law enforcement, and others. Their goal is to give back to those who protect us every day and make a difference in our communities. Thousands of Heroes contact Homes for Heroes looking for charitable donations. With the help of our affiliates’ we try to achieve these requests. Homes for Heroes is proudly present in over 44 states and has over 700 affiliates. They firmly believe in making a difference with our Heroes.

Another awesome benefit with this program is that part of your realtor’s commission is used to assist you in your closing cost. Any extra money that is left over from that, it is then donated to the charity of your choice. A short time after our closing, we had a family member pass due to cancer. The left over money from our closing costs was donated to the American Cancer Society in the name of our deceased family member. This deceased family member just a happened to be a great teacher too.
