The Governors square neighborhood in Charlotte NC is located just south of Fairview Rd, minutes from South Park. The neighborhood was built in the late 1960's - 1970's and homes are situated on large lots along tree lined streets. There is no mandatory homeowners association. Charlotte NC's Governors Square neighborhood is convenient to shopping, dining and entertainment at South Park, Phillips Place and the Morrocroft Village Shopping Center.
In addition, the main road through the Governors Square neighborhood (Valencia Terrace), connects with Fairview Rd at the Shops at Foxcroft which features a Brixx Pizza, Caribou Coffee, Ben & Jerry's, The Wine Shop at Foxcroft and other retailers.
