6 Apps that Real Estate Agents Cannot Afford to be without.

We have been told you must get the normal list of  apps to be productive so here is a few different ones to try. If you do not have these, try them out as most are free. Most of us are using smartphones or pads in our daily business so don't be caught out in the field without the capability to do important tasks.

 

Evernote: Evernote lets you record text notes, voice notes, and photographs, and it automatically syncs them to either a web-based account or your home computer. You can even turn on GPS to give each note a location-specific. This app is great if you have an idea, see an important picture and just want to keep it  for future reference so you don’t forget. (free)

Sfera 360° Photo Maker: Take 360° photos of any room in a property to create stunning virtual tours. By just standing in one spot, point the camera, activate the app, and spin around in a full circle. Potential buyers can navigate the final image using their mouse to view whichever part of the room they choose.  This is a remarkable tool to showcase your listings and not pay a big fee for virtual tours. (1.99)

***PLEASE READ: I just had several members notify me that they had had trouble downloading and that the company was trying  to get them to buy some editing apps....ahhhhh.  I contacted one of my ActiveRain iPad mentors  Cheryl Ritchie who suggested I try Animoto instead. I do have this app but I use the free version which gives you a 30 second video where the paid plan is $5 a monthor $30 a year. So I do apoligize that some are having trouble. ActiveRains' William Johnson sent me this link so the review looked good and I read the review  in itunes prior to ordering it but did not see this review written on Appotography or I wouldn't have purchased it myself. Read Review here.
 
Slydial: Need to leave a message but really don’t have time for a conversation? Slydial connects you directly to any mobile phone's voicemail—their phone never rings, and they'll just assume they missed the call. This amazes me as how do they do it? (Free)

CamScanner: Turn your phone into a scanner, photo-copier, or fax machine. Take a picture of a hardcopy document (or even a white board) and CamScanner will turn it into a downloadable PDF or JPEG. Good to copy the EMD check when out in the field. (Free)

Documents To Go Premium: If you ever need to edit Word, Excel, or PowerPoint documents on the fly, Documents To Go is the answer. It is pricier than most apps, it is amazing considering its capabilities. Your smartphone won't replace your laptop, desktop, or tablet when it comes to editing Microsoft Office documents, out in the field this tool is great! ($16.99)

Dictionary of Real Estate Terms- This powerful app does not need to be connected to the internet and is compatible to all MAC products. It gives you 3000 real estate terms immediately at your fingertips. A great little tool for $3.99 The android counterpart is called Glossary Real Estate Terms and it is free.
