Homes in the Atlanta real estate market have done well considering the national housing slump.  After looking at the numbers, my company is not that far off from last year.  Sure, new home inventory is still a rising problem, but compared to the national market, we are doing pretty well.  Atlanta real estate priced from 180-220k has done the best in this national housing depression.  Kennesaw, Acworth, and Woodstock, in my opinion currently have the best quality and value of re-sale homes in the North Atlanta area.

Kennesaw, GA is located in Cobb County approximately 20 miles north of Atlanta.  Kennesaw real estate has weathered the storm with an abundance of buyers targeting the area.  With it's great location and close proximity to shopping, Homes for sale in Kennesaw have been moving lately.  The North Atlanta real estate market has benefited from cities like Kennesaw that continue to fight off the negative real estate market.  Home buyers here experience a wide variety of different types of housing, and usually always find what they are looking for.  You will find everything from Town-homes, cluster homes, million dollar homes, and more.

Woodstock, GA is located about 10 miles north of Kennesaw in the southern region of Cherokee County.  Woodstock real estate is another positive link in Atlanta's strong market.  Made up of a good mix of higher and lower priced homes, Woodstock has homes to take care of any budget.  Commercial real estate in Woodstock has remained positive also.  Everywhere you look, strip malls, shopping centers, and restaurants spring up seemingly unfaded by a poor national housing market.  REALTORS rarely have a difficult time showing clients homes for sale in Woodstock, due to the wide array of housing choices.  I would have to say that Woodstock is a great city that has benefited the Atlanta real estate market over the last few years.

Acworth, GA is sits just west of Woodstock and north of Kennesaw.  With an impressive historic downtown area and great recreational activities, the Acworth Real Estate has also not slowed down.  New homes are Acworth's specialty.  A large amount of new construction is available, and although sales are not on fire like previous years, builders here are still selling houses.  Price, value, and location are three reasons.  Acworth also has a thriving luxury home market.

As you can see, here are three cities that help make up the Atlanta real estate market.  While not all Suburban Atlanta cities have seen this much prosperity throughout the last few years, these three cities are definitely a bright spot. Jennifer, good to see you around the Rain again :) :)

We are also holding our own pretty well here in Connecticut, even with all the media effort to proclaim doom and gloom.

As a testament to the vitality of the Kennesaw market and the overall economy, my company has chosen Kennesaw as the location of its new flagship concept store, slated to open August 16th.  As aDesign Consultant with Bassett furniture who works primarily with Realtors and their Clients, I know that this economy is still thriving.  Of the 130 stores across the country, Bassett chose only a few store to test the success of the new concept.  They choose Kennesaw, because people are buying homes and buying furniture, regardless of the what the media says.

With your positive attitude, I have no doubt that you will continue to be successful.
