Sending the contracts to everyone in the form of PDF format has gotten a huge fan club. Often the response is how do you do this. Even one fax in the mix makes the clarity and resolution not as clear. This has raised the level of professionalism ( in my opinion ) as well as saved trips and/or explanation of a particular wording that cannot be read from the copied version. Having the PDF saved on the computer also better organizes files for easy retrieval. I also appreciate agents that post disclosures on their website.

It is such a huge hlep with relocation clients that are often in the other state when you are dealing with the changes. Nice post, thanks!

Another added bonus in my company is the fax to email feature. Much clearer and I can save them right to the appropriate folder.

I use an online fax so I can read them, and save them.  but if I need to send something back I sign then convert to PDF and send....you're  right a much cleaner copy.

Thanks for the comments. I also use the computer fax and then convert the document to PDF.

You are absolutely correct, being able to send contracts as attachments is a huge professional plus.   The easiest way is to get a great scanner that can handle the entire document, scan it to file and then attach it to an e-mail.  Most of the new upper end multi-function printers can handle this sort of thing.   E-Fax is a must in a modern office.   Jerry

Just be conscience of other email that may not be able to handle large files.

Bonner that is a good point and one I have forgotten about.....the size limits of some email accounts.

I like the fact that I can password protect the PDF document that way one the intended recipient can open the file.

We just started to save all our brochures and "fax property packets" as PDF's.  You have more people asking these days to email it not fax it.  If you say I'll have t fax it you hear a sigh at the end of the phone.  Looks like fax machines are going to go where the typewriters went.
