Northern Virginia has officially transitioned to a buyer's market -- making it the right time to make your move and get educated on the homebuying process. We'll be hosting a special Northern Virginia homebuyer seminar on Saturday, March 8th in Annandale to cater to the increasing homebuyer demand.

The weekend lunchtime seminar will be held at the Bank of America Office located at 7619 Little River Turnpike, Suite 1000, Annandale, VA from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Brian Block and mortgage lender Ellen Wilson will discuss the winning strategies for purchasing and financing a home in Northern Virginia. In this educational seminar, Brian and Ellen will guide you through the intricacies of the homebuying process and answer all your questions about the real estate market and mortgage loans. Additionally Loretta Colom from The Settlement Group will be on hand to discuss title and settlement issues.

Homebuying seminars are a wonderful opportunity for new buyers to learn about the buying process. It looks like you've got the itinerary all planned out for optimum learning in the two hour time period....and lunch too!

SHANNON: Thank you! Well, I just sent out e-mail invitations yesterday and already have 7 people signed up to come. In the past, we've always had between 8 to 20 people attend our seminars.

CINDY: I'm glad to hear that you had a successful seminar. I hope ours will be successful as well.

LANCE: Thanks for your comment and compliments. I do relish the opportunity to teach today's often confused homebuyer about the process and the market.

JO: We've had a great response in the past when we hosted these seminars and find that everyone walks away with much more knowledge about real estate and mortgages then when they walked in that morning.

I have GOT to do something like this- how's it working?

CHUCK: Our seminars have been quite successful in the past. We've had good reviews by previous attendees and several closed sales as a result of our past seminars. As of today, we've got 10 confirmed RSVPs and still have 3 weeks to go.

Brian,

I am in the beginning stages of putting together my 1st Home Buyers Seminar in my small town for educational purposes. I am thirsty for advise and tools/checklist. I have never put something on like this before and I am excited. Any suggestions?
