Will you be celebrating the 4th of July, 2013 in Temple Terrace? The City of Temple Terrace celebrates the 4th of July with two annual events. The 4th of July Parade begins at 10 a.m. The parade route will begin at Whiteway Drive and Gillette Avenue. The parade will travel south on Gillette Avenue to Druid Hills Road. The Parade will turn west on Ridgedale Road and end near the little league fields. (Floats and participants in the parade will disband at Temple Terrace Elementary School.) The parade route is approximately 2 miles. Come out and enjoy this year's Independence Parade!
The City of Temple Terrace 2013 4th of July Celebration will be from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Temple Terrace Golf and Country Club Fairway. The annual fireworks display will be at 9:15 p.m. on the first fairway. Come out for fun, entertainment, and fireworks! Both the 4th of July Parade and the 4th of July Celebration are brought to you by the City of Temple Terrace and the Temple Terrace Chamber of Commerce.
Nearby Busch Gardens encourages you to celebrate July 4th with a Real BANG! On July 2, 3, and 4th, fireworks will be lighting up the skies over SheiKra. Kinetix will kick off at 9 p.m. and the fireworks will begin after the show. Come to Gwazi Field for entertainment including acrobats and dancers. Busch Gardens loves our active military. US active military with valid ID will receive free admission for themselves and three immediate family members. The 4th of July festivities at Busch Gardens are included with your admission ticket. Spend your day enjoying the rides including the Cheetah Hunt, the Wild Surge, Jungle Flyers, SandSerpent, Gwazi, and the Congo River Rapids. See the shows including Madagascar Live! Operation: Vacation, Iceploration, Born to Rock, Let's Get Loud, and A is for Africa. Then end 4th of July, 2013 with a Real BANG at Busch Gardens Tampa!
