Two homes in a row? What is going on? Bad electrical runs rampant.

At Desert Sun Home Inspections in Carlsbad New Mexico.

Yesterday I had a post about a bad electrical job on the exterior of a home. See it here Electrician needs to be educated. And I do mean a lot of education. http://actvra.in/XKC

Then the very next home I have an awful mess in the garage. I have to really be nice when I see this stuff.

I don't want to make it seem like I'm about to go ballistic. Even when I see this stuff it makes me really mad at who ever did it.

I will make this post short and sweet.

Look at what I found when inspecting this homes garage area.

Seeing is believing.

Garage electrical work.

And there was a lot more.

Garage electrical.

There was a ton of this going on in the garage.

Then to add insult to injury already inflicted to the homes electrical system.

The top left breaker was at a scorching 145 degrees.

Over heated breaker.

Temps for the other breakers were at about 108-110.

Keep in mind though it was about 107 Degrees at time of the inspection. Yes the attic was right at 160 degrees.

I think all they has were short lengths of wire and tried to make it work. Final results were it did work. Quote from Uncle Bob. :-)

I'm sure I have been to. LOL

It's been really hot here. I try and get inspections as early as possible. But yesterday the buyers could not make it till 3:30. The attic was over 160 by then.
