What: Freedomfest

When: June 29th starting at 4PM

Where: 2480 Academy Road, Powhatan

Cost: $10 per person

Details: Enjoy a night of live music, crafts, fireworks, and special guests Martin and Godwin from Duck Dynasty!

 

What: Fireworks on the James

When: July 3rd starting at 7PM

Where: Brown's Island

Cost: Free

Details: Sponsored by Dominion and MeadWestvaco, get ready to partake in fabulous food from local food vendors, entertainment by the School of the Performing Arts, the Richmond Symphony Youth Orchestra, and Minds in Motion by the Richmond Ballet.

 

What: Genworth Independence Day Concert

When: July 3rd starting at 6:30PM

Where: Genworth, 6620 W. Broad Street, Richmond

Cost: Free

Details: Go ahead, be a kid again! Participate in face painting, balloons, great food from food vendors, and a spectacular firework display with music by the Heritage of America Band!

 

What: Fireworks at Dogwood Dell

When: July 4th starting at 5:45pm

Where: Dogwood Dell, 700 Blanton Ave.

Cost: Free

Details: Festivities include a free concert with a mix of music to fit all tastes and then marvel at the fireworks shooting across the sky!

 

What: Goochland County Fireworks

When: July 4th from 9pm-10pm

Where: Goochland Sports Complex, 1800 Sandy Hook Road in Goochland

Cost: Free

Details: Bring a lawn chair, pack a picnic, and enjoy the twinkling lights shooting in the night!

 

What: Kings Dominion Military Days

When: July 4th and 5th

Where: Kings Dominion in Doswell, VA

Cost: Active, inactive, and retired military servicemen and women will enjoy free admission with a valid military ID. In addition, they may bring up to 6 friends or family members who will enjoy admission for just $38.99.

Details: The thrill is back with awesome rides, great food choices, and a night of beautiful fireworks! And, don't forget about the terrific waterpark to cool down on a hot Richmond VA day!

 

What: Fireworks and the Flying Squirrels

When: July 4th, 5th, and 6th with games starting at 6:05pm and 7:05pm

Where: The Diamond, 3001 N. Boulevard

Cost: $7-$11

Details: Batter up! What is more American than baseball and fireworks?! The 4th and 5th will feature a fireworks extravaganza and the 6th will boast an all-star celebration.

 

What: Racing to the Stars and Stripes

When: July 4th from 5pm- 8:45pm with fireworks starting at 9:30pm

Where: Colonial Downs in New Kent

Cost: $5-$30

Details: Relax with live music, horse racing, free ice cream, and a little magic with Jonathan Austin!

 

What: Chesterfield County July 4th Celebration

When: July 4th from 5pm-10pm

Where: Chesterfield County Fairgrounds, 10300 Courthouse Rd, Chesterfield.

Cost: Free

Details: Celebrate our freedom with a special day of activities and a night of fireworks!

 

What: Busch Gardens Illuminights

When: July 1st-August 11th, fireworks start at 9:30pm

Where: Busch Gardens, Williamsburg VA

Cost: $60-$70

Details: Fill the day with awesome rides and end the night with live performances and a fireworks display you will not want to miss!
