If you check my blog Ardell, I was at a plateau... I was like flat ginger ale. I changed all 50+ blogs to ASSOCIATE ONLY in exchange for the request of people adding me as their Associate. I tripled my associations, I made some more friends. I then took the advice of some bloggers and WENT PUBLIC with all my articles, I gained 2,000 more points than I originally had. It took me 1 hour to dissapear and reappear, I feel it was time well spent. I went from 99 in Arizona to 266, now I am 81 in Arizona. Yes, I crave power just like the next person in some ways, then again, what you willing to tolerate you will never change.
