CF ranks as nation's 8th most affordable 4-year college

We always brag about Ocala's great weather, being the Horse Capital of the World, and its many attractions and activities. Now we can also brag about it great College and being one of the most affordable in the country!

"The U.S. Department of Education ranked the College of Central Florida as the eighth most affordable four-year public college in the country for 2011-12.

CF's annual tuition for a full-time student in 2011-12 was $2,365, 66.9 percent below the national average of $7,135, U.S. education officials report."

Now if I would have known Ocala was the horse capital of the world, I might not have gone to New Mexico State. That is a terrific price for higher education. With college costs through the roof, Ocala might be the place to invest in rental property for those College of Central Florida students!
