When I read about Crowdsourcing the Way to an Amazing Open House this morning, I thought to myself, "Self. You don't have to reinvent the wheel. Just describe what you always do, have done for over 30 years of OPEN HOUSE activities and still train agents for the same activities because they work.
The important thing about Open Houses is that YOU MUST GET THE WORD OUT. Before ActiveRain, we distributed fliers to local real estate offices. Later, we e-mailed agents and brokers about OPEN HOUSES. Bottom line is, GET THE WORD OUT."
ACTIVERAIN ADVERTISEMENT FOR OPEN HOUSE WORKS!! Of course, the inclusion of ActiveRain advertisements of Open Houses is fairly recent, but it works. WHY DOES IT WORK??

I Searched Google for "Open House Leesburg Shenstone Sunday" ActiveRain and Google did the rest. 5 years later and the advertisement still appears on page 1.
