How Will Santa Know Where to Bring My Presents When We Move?

There are so many stresses associated with moving, and when there are kids involved there are multiple stresses.  Schools.  Day care.  You know name it.

But just last week, a new question was asked by a young man, going on four years old, that didn't want his parents to buy a new home.  His reason was simple:  Santa wouldn't know where to find the new house.  So how will Santa know where to bring your presents when you move?

First of all, when you move, your parents will tell the post office they have moved.  They will give the post office the new address to send the mail.  Of course, the post office alerts Santa whenever there is a move.

The second alert to Santa goes out when your parents set up their utility service.  This means getting the water, electricity and gas turned on at the new house.  Whenever a utility company gets a request for new service, they notify Santa of the family requesting it and where they live.

Finally, your real estate agent registers you and your new address with Santa online.  It's part of our job.  When your parents get the keys to their new house, we go home and alert Santa online that you have moved.

So don't you worry.  Santa is notified three times that you have moved.  He will know where to deliver your presents when you spend your first Christmas in your new home.

Lynn:  An agent's gotta do what an agent's gotta do.

Kathy:  Let's face it.  A smart four year old knows about back up plans.  Figured three would do the trick.

Christmas in July -- I'm all about thinking "cool" and winter right about now.  And the questions that kids ask are precious! They are thinking ahead too!

Kids have so many concerns when they are moving. This may seem funny to us but to them it is a real concern. After all, after being good all year they want to reap the rewards.

Chris Ann, I love this. So many stresses for little ones when they move. This is just one less thing for them to worry about.
