Today I made it to FDR Libray although it was a wet afternoon. This was the day the library reopened after a 30 million dollar renovation. There was quite crowd, even visitors from the surrounding states.
I kept saying "they did a great job". There was much to see, I wanted to read all the letters. I will have to go back on a less busy day, probably no time soon because I suspect many will be coming to Hyde Park to see the library. It is worth the trip.

Presidential libraries are a gift to the community, a slice of history and a tremendous learning opportunity. I love museums and libraries!

Sharon I know you would love the newly renovated FDR Library. There is much to see, I know I will be going back.

Jennifer I have been to FDR's little white house in Georgia when I was stationed at FT Benning for all my military courses, I guess it is high time to visit the FDR Library since I have been to about five or six presidential libraries!
