The Boogie Men Rock Gulf Coast Town Center
High energy rock & soul music ... going strong for 24 years
The Boogie Men were in concert Saturday evening at the Gulf Coast Town Center (GCTC) free Saturday night summer concert series. And high-energy are what they are.
Saturday night landed us at Kilwin's GCTC for a great ice cream desert following a special homemade dinner for a very special person's birthday. Out the door and what do I hear? Brass! As in a couple of trumpets and a tenor sax rounding out a ten piece band with two vocalists.
It was good to see so many people of all ages, including the most adorable ~5 year old girl doing the hoola-hoop performing for everyone, in the audience having a wonderful time on a typical warm Florida evening. There are many eateries at GCTC for a meal whether it be fast food, casual dining, or a bit more formal at Conner's Steak and Seafood.
You can check out the GCTC website for the schedule and restaurant directory. Go have some fun, maybe play glow-in-the-dark miniature golf, and eat some ice cream! The toasted coconut is Mmmmmm...
Gulf Coast Town Center is just down the road a bit from Miromar Lakes, FGCU (aka dunk city,) Grandezza, and Stoneybrook.
