Hi guys! Here's a quick video on the Village of Palatine's 4th of July Festival for 2013. It's a great time to come out with family and friends to celebrate our nation's Independence Day! Presented by the Village of Palatine and the Palatine Jaycees, the festival includes a carnival, live music, various food booths from restaurants in the area, a parade, and an amazing fireworks display at 9PM on Friday July 5th. If you're coming out to see the fireworks, make sure you get out there early and claim a spot. The best place to see the spectacular fireworks show is in the baseball field right next to the carnival. Families usually come out hours in advance to lay down blankets and tarps in order to make sure that they have a great view of the fireworks and it also gives them a chance to enjoy the carnival, live music, and food/drinks offered at the festival.
