Fireworks Displays in DC & VA 2012There is nothing better than a spectacular display of fireworks on the 4th of July.  The DC and Northern Virginia area offer a wide selection of places to take in a pyrotechnic display celebrating our nations Independence Day.

The Washington Monument of course is the sight for DC’s biggest display of Fireworks.  The only advice is to go early, be prepared for the security checks and stay hydrated.

Cindy,

I can drive 30 minutes in any direction and see fantastic fireworks. One of the benefits of living in the area. Of course, I won't see my dogs for about four hours.
