Southern Museum of Civil War and Locomotive History

The 2889-acre site hosts living history demonstrations from Memorial Day-Labor Day, the largest commemorating the Battle of Kennesaw Mountain's anniversary (June 27, 1864). Dixie Speedway is a 3/8-mile banked clay oval that hosts stock car racing. Everything from National Event to Weekly Races, Bombers, Sportsman, Cruiser Cars, and the Superfast 600 Horsepowered Late Models that headline the feature event each week.
