Kennesaw Mountain http://www.nps.gov/kemo Most complete Civil War battlefield of the 1864 Atlanta Campaign. The 2889-acre site hosts living history demonstrations from Memorial Day-Labor Day, the largest commemorating the Battle of Kennesaw Mountain's anniversary (June 27, 1864). Activities range from birdwalks to Civil War clothing exhibits, including an 18-minute film and new state-of-the-art museum.

Dixie Speedway is a 3/8-mile banked clay oval that hosts stock car racing. Everything from National Event to Weekly Races, Bombers, Sportsman, Cruiser Cars, and the Superfast 600 Horsepowered Late Models that headline the feature event each week. There's even a chance for the fans to test their skill in one on one, single lap spectator racing with the only qualifications needed: your car, helmet, seat belt, plus a roll bar. Cagle's Dairy Farm Tours Georgia's only producer/processing dairy. Children and adults visit the baby animal facilitiy, milk Ms. Rosy and see the milk processing plant/facilities after visiting the cows on a hayride. See how milk gets from the cow to you in about one and one/half hours. All milk produced on the farm is processed at the farm before delivery to customers. $7.00 each two years and over. The Recreation Area lies within four counties, north and northeast of downtown Atlanta, Georgia. It consists of 16 land units along a 48-mile stretch of the Chattahoochee River. In addition to providing recreational activities such as fishing, hiking, picnicking, and boating, the park contains a wide variety of natural habitats, flora and fauna, nineteenth century historic sites, and Native American archeological sites.
