Properties for sale in Shreveport Bossier CityThe Fourth of July is a time to reflect on your goals, your dreams and how these will bring you the ultimate life that you want and deserve. As I reflect on how I will spend my holiday, it brings to mind what our forefathers wanted for their country. Each one of us knows in our heart what the United States of America means to us, even though our differences of opinions are prevalent. How do we achieve this wonderful America that we so love? What are our goals, our dreams?

As the Fourth is the beginning of our country, Dreams and goals become the beginning of your life. What you want out of life and what you dream and imagine your future to be, molds and shapes what you do, when you do it and how it is accomplished. What begins with a dream, becomes a goal and your future.

I was once told by a person very close to me that they had no dreams. They lived day to day and took whatever it gave them. In all actuality, that person said "I'm going to drink,". Well guess what, that person does drink, every time I see this person, a drink is in their hand. It makes me sad. You see, this person has become what they spoke and imagined; no goals, no dreams, each day passing them by.

So Dream, Dream big. I was told when I was younger that I was a dreamer. Those things wouldn't happen, couldn't happen. But you see, what they forgot was dreams are goals to be set and goals to be reached. Without  big dreams, you will not have big goals. Set those goals high! Higher than you can imagine and you will be surprised what you have accomplished.

The Founders of our country were big dreamers. They dreamed this country could and would be great! They were right. We are a great nation. But without those big dreamers, we could not have become this beautiful strong and "opinionated" nation. We have freedoms and opportunities that other countries wish for. Make others in your life wish they could have what you have in your life. Be a Dreamer!

There is no better time to start that journey than there is on the Fourth of July. Just as our Forefathers began the dream of our great nation, You can begin the dream of your future.

You become your own dream and that is a reality. Too many people are drugged up and have no thought but for the next moment. They depend on the government and that was the plan of the government the whole time, since the early 1900"s but that is to much history for any American to read, so it can repeat itself. History is not boring, we are boring.

Mari & Fellow realtors,

"Nothing is as real as a dream. The world can change around you, but your dream will not. Responsibilities need not erase it. Duties need not obscure it. Because the dream is within you, NO ONE CAN TAKE IT AWAY". I found these words of wisdom behind a small wooden picture frame in an out of the way gift shop a few years ago. I have these "words for thought" prominently displayed on a small buffet table near my home's front entrance, needless to say, I have received numerous comments.....

Have a joyous Fourth of July...

Continuing to drink is a person adrift. It sounds like they are depressed. Hopefully Mari they can read your post and be inspired.

Today is a great day to celebrate and remember why America is such a unique country and concept.  Every generation is in danger of losing their freedom if we don't understand that the price of freedom is eternal vigilance.

Mari, excellent point! Our forefathers proved what dreaming big can do. No reason why we can't do the same. Have a great 4th of July holiday.
