Nelson Riemenschneider to Receive Gold Medal of Achievement
My son Nelson Riemenschneider will be awarded his Gold Medal of Achievement on Sunday July 7, 2013 at Harvest Time Church at 2200 Ventura Drive in Brentwood Ca. The ceremony starts at 6 PM.
The Gold Medal of Achievement is an award given by the Royal Rangers that is the equivalent of the Eagle Scout Award.
Nelson has been in Royal Rangers for 10 years and has worked very hard through the advancement requirements; earning 48 Bible Merits and 27 other Merits focusing on outdoor skills, sports, citizenship, and other areas of life. Currently he is a Junior Commander in Out Post 206 in Brentwood California.
Nelson is entering his Senior Year at Liberty High School in Brentwood CA where his is an honor roll student, leader on the football team, a wrestler, and involved in leadership in math club, and Christian club. He wants to play college football and get a degree in Business Management or similar major; his long term goal is to go into the food business either hospitality, owning a restaurant, or a micro/gourmet food business.
Most importantly he is my son and I love him and am very proud of him.
