Deli Line Excitement | My Number on A Short Sale Up

So it is just before our Independence holiday and my deli line excitement coincided with my number being up and a call from my short sale negotiator.  It has to be good news this time I said.  We have been working hard to get a reduction in short sale approval price for the buyer so she can qualify for her 203k loan.  The short sale seller was in agreement with the price reduction too.  

Number 78 yelled loudly by the deli manages as my phone call came in.  Of course, I am waving my hands and answering my phone at the same time....eyeballs rolling around me.  Yes, I work and shop!!  The news came in and I said my number came up as the good news came to my ears...MI (mortgage insurance) company has agreed to reduce the agreed upon sales price.  See we already had the short sale approval letter in hand and then the buyer had issues with the HUD consultant on dollars which had to be spent to rehab the property.  IT was back to the negotiating table once more.

I am yelling yes right now and smiling hard.  This is more than a red bliss potato salad order coming in here!  This is our brass ring to move ahead.  So a few of the women were listening and watching me.  One tapped me on the shoulder...so you are a local realtor who really cares about your client I can see.  May I have your card, please she said.  My daughter is going to buy a house and is not working with anyone yet.  Sure as I grabbed one and passed it on.  So perhaps this was a double header today.  

Short sales take concentration, dedication, teamwork and knowhow be all involved just like selling a straight sale.  Giving all you can in this real estate business is my passion.  I love what I do everyday in RI coastal real estate.  And I hope it shows!  Deli Line Excitement | My Number on A Short Sale Up.
