Most consumers, and everyone in the mortgage and real estate industry, know about the FICO score. Generally, when people talk about a 'credit score', they are talking about FICO. This score is used to approve consumers for loans, mortgages, and credit cards!
But the FICO score is not the only version of the credit score! There are many other score models out there. The difference is - most lenders don't use them!
That's where scam companies come in. They will sell you these 'credit scores' for cheap. Many consumers will buy them thinking they are a FICO score. But instead, they are buying FAKO scores!
Tell your clients to beware of FAKO scores! Has anyone had any experience with these?
