Wow, 2007 seemed to fly by. I hope everyone had a prosperous and pleasant year. Did you get a chance to visit Homearama at Edinburgh Meadows? It was the most attended Homearama in 25 years! All of the homes were just magnificant! I'll bet you didn't know 2007 Home Sales were the fifth best in history? Right now, 2008 really is a great time to buy with low interest rates and an abundant selection of homes on the market with many at reduced prices.

Very refreshing and on point Patty. The facts are the facts and there is nothing Pollyanna about your comments. 20 years ago rates were over 10% so we don't have to worry about rates either. By the way, yes credit standards have tightened but compared to what? Compared to the exotic loan age. The same parameters we NOW have were here FIVE years ago but re-arranged a bit.

So you have good reason to be optimistic. For those of us that have been around here for a long time actually will make more money this year because all the amateurs will have gone back to their real jobs!
