Lawmakers approved the bill in the House and Senate by a combined 156-2 margin. And lawmakers from both parties celebrated a dramatic reversal from last year's bill increase.
The voice of the people were finally heard. This insurance rate slash came after many demonstration from policyholders as well as the determination of Gov. Crist.
Now homeowners can expect to save anywhere from 5% to as much as 40% on their policy. This certainly is positive and refreshing news for many.

Thanks is good news. I just learned yesterday from friends of mine that they got a $12,000 annual insurance quote for their home in Port St. Lucie, I was astounded!
The folks living in FL needed some positive financial news! I am glad to hear it.
Second, I am so glad to have AR so I am made aware of information like this. Information I can use in my business here in NC. We have a good number of clients moving this way from FL. It is nice to know what they have been dealing with and how things are changing there.
