Heat intolerant means high humidity and hard physical work don't mix so well. You melt, collapse away from the Maine waterfront refreshment.

To each his own and folks that love high temperatures day in and out migrate to areas that provide that oven temperature that pleases them most.

In Maine, we are four seasons and winter is one of our favorite.

Due to the slew outdoor recreation options.

And also because we can bundle up with an extra layer of clothing for warmth in Maine.

But in high heat, extreme humidity only strip down to the birthday suit and look for a Maine lake front property listing to take a dip. Lots of them.

So having a healthy selection of Maine waterfront real estate is key.

When the thermoter red climbs higher and higher toward the top of the glass tube. The summer clothing gets smaller and smaller.

Down to the bare essentials when Maine summer weather gets underway in good shape.

Not just lakefront property in Maine, but streams, ponds, rivers and access to ocean front listings to beat the heat.

And to add to the property value with the sound of the waves, current and in some cases Maine loons. maine moose swimming bathing photo

If you want to hear, see Maine listings on the waterfront, videos do it best.

Right now, go lakeside, be on the banks of a Maine river or stream.

Overlooking a big pond.

Get it all and across the board for Maine waterfront real estate property price ranges, types, for a big selection to make the best fit, match for you.

The good news in Maine is even if the real estate listing you zero in on lacks a waterfront element, relax.

Chances are within ten miles of the property there is a lake with a public landing.

You just need a boat, some fishing tackle, bait, some gas, a thermos or cooler for the refreshment.

For the day out on the Maine waterfront.

Or to be handy to a river in Maine with a launch for your boat, canoe, kayak.

Maine waterfront is everywhere and being near it if not on it is easy peasy.

Do what the local wildlife does when the heat gets uncomfortable and head to the Maine waterfront.

Follow their examples and cool off the natural, up to your neck way.

Make the call, reach out with an email and let's connect. Find out about the dream for Maine waterfront property that you for years now have thought no way. That you could not afford. Surprise.

Andrew -I never thought of Maine as getting hot, but it has been many years since I've been there, and I typically went skiing in the winter. Here in Jacksonville Beach, FL, we had a fabulous ocean breeze, and it was very cool and comfortable last night :-)

Andy, Maine and winter go hand in hand, but so does Maine and the summer in my mind. I have many a fond memory of Maine in the summer over the years, and boy is it fun!

Love that picture of the moose!

Carol .... Maine is four seasons...the folks who think polar bears and igloos have never been here. That is Artic Circle...a tad north.

Andrea .... Maine and fall, Maine and spring. Four seasons and all the neat places are different each one. Hit you a little bit differently depending on the weather, your mood, life at the time. Come for a day, end up staying a life time.

Roger ... It's better than the real thing when you sample ME !

Hi Andy, another "perfect" post about life in Maine. A great way to sell the waterfront properties --- naturally, you've got the great videos too, which give us the ability to immediately transport - and experience - what you're talking about.

A home on a lake in Maine is a very inviting idea for the hot days of summer.

Keep cool and enjoy the wonders of Maine.
