Popular Beaches In NYC, Staten Island, Bronx, Brooklyn, & Queens

1) Cedar Grove Beach - Staten Island - Located on Ebbits St. & Cedar Grove ave.  This beachj is one of four in Great Kills Park and is often mistaken for private, it's not! 

2) Coney Island - Brooklyn - Located on Surf Ave from West 37th St to Ocean Parkway - A family classic and Brooklyn staple that also has an aquarium, minor league baseball stadium, amusement park, and so much more!

3) Rockaway Beach - Queens - Located Beach 9 St - Beach 149 St. - Surfers love this spot, the designated surfing area is between 67 & 69 St and 87 - 92 St.  There are also volleyball courts and a roller rink.

4) Orchard Beach - Bronx - Located on Shore and Orchard Beach Roads in Pelham Bay Park.  This is the only beach that the Bronx has and it fills up quick in the summer months.

5) Jacob Riis Park - Queens - Located at Beach 149 to Beach 169 St - Also enjoy paddle tennis, baseball, basketball, and volleyball courts.  They don't have concessions so pack wisely.
