Home Decorationing Tips
This is the time to spruce up your patio to make it more relaxing and fresh looking. The idea is to spend time enjoying the space and watching nature too. Here is a few ideas to make you feel like sipping lemonade and watching the sun sets in the cooler evenings.
First of all if you have chaise lounges that are still in good condition, perhaps some new cushions will perk up the area. This is a picture of the before and after and of course you can see which one my dog perfers....the lounger with the new cushions.
If your patio furniture is in need of replacing, here is a set that might make you feel you are sitting in your living room but enjoying the outdoors too.
And here is a cute idea; make a seating area for sip your tea or whatever your evening drink happens to be.
If your patio furniture is still good but a little boring, add a few throw pillows with a splash of color.
Buy some cute plastic dishes to put outside. It will make you feel like you are having a party.
Install an outside ceiling fan to get the air moving when it is stuffy and hot.
Add a soothing fountain to the yard; enjoy the birds flying around as it is a magnet for them.
If you like to barbecue, you can enjoy some good fresh barbecued meat and veggies while sitting outside.
Add some pretty flowers and maybe a few whimsical statues or hanging art pieces to place around the flowerbeds in the yard or on the fence.
In planters, remove old ground covering and add some stone planters and rocks. Save water by using dripless sprinklers.
Also change your boring umbrellas to a bright color to attract birds and it will make you smile. See the sandcast Sun art hanging on the fence.
Hang some bird feeders so you can sit in the mornings or evenings and enjoy them feeding. Hang backyard feeders and hummingbird feeders both so you have a variety.
*Also add some cute lanterns, twinkle lights hanging from the patio cover, outdoor lighting scattered around, colorful rugs, whimsical turtle statues, and some cute flags.
