When things get tough, how do you react? Many people, not just Realtors, have the tendency to do the opposite of what we should be doing.

If you're having a bad day/month/year, etc, we sometimes have a tendency to bury ourselves in "introvert" type work. We spend too much time in the office, too much time on the computer, or fill our days with many other non-productive.

This is the time to let the "extrovert" part of our personality shine. Now I know this is not easy, but there are ways to boost your positive energy and move forward. Make calls, send out letters and even re-kindle old relationships.

There are great sites like LINKED-IN that help you to find old college buddies, friends from previous jobs or other groups that you may have been affiliated with.

This week I had lunch with an old friend that I haven't seen in years. Tracked him down on Linked In!

When things get stressful, push out rather than retreat inward. Get out and press the flesh and you'll pull yourself out of the negative zone!

Those are all great ideas. I went into the office today, which I normally do, and there were only 2 other agents there.  We the other agents do show up, there are 10-15 more, you can tell by the sound of their voice and their body language that they are hiding rather than getting out there and getting the job done.

I eat.  I guess that's bad.  I like people when I am stressed.  They help take my mind off it.

It's tough not being in your comfort zone.  I definitely get introverted (and eat too!).

I definitely get extroverted...but then I'm like that most of the time, only moreso when I'm nervous.  I laugh more too.

I usually become more introverted. I need to step an step back and spend some "me time" to come up with solutions.

In high school I was taught by my psych teacher that when ever times seem tough do at least two activities that make you feel uncomfortable for one hour each, be it exercise, meeting people or calling old friends just to say you are sorry!

I've taking that advice and you will be amazed how quick things turn around for you when you do those things that normally make you uncomfortable.
