I got a jump start on Valentine's Day pop-by visits this year, and spent the better part of two days reconnecting with my old sphere. I bought some cute little plastic jars at Walmart, filled them with candy, and delivered them to some people I haven't spoken to in a while.
What a great experience! My ego is HUGE right now!
My pop-bys took me about three times longer than I expected, because I ended up chatting and catching up with so many people. We talked about their kids, their grandkids, their jobs, my son, their church, real estate, the Relay for Life, their dogs, my listings, Girl Scouts, the new construction going in down the street, how I am using the internet to market my listings, their college courses, everything!
I have some work to do to follow-up with everyone I spoke to, how great is that! Plus, I think I just got three referrals!
And the best part? Three referrals and I only did ten pop-by's. What an awesome return!
The negotiating is fun, but the people-part is why I got into real estate in the first place ten years ago. I love selling homes in Bremerton and Kitsap County! Love my job!
