One more reason I love Lake Anna. When they say one picture is worth a thousand words I believe they are talking about photos like the one I took of my daughter and her two daughters down on our dock. It makes me so happy to share out home with our family members. Nothing beats the times they are here to enjoy it with us.

No matter how many times we see the sunset (and I've seen plenty in the 19 years we've been living in our house) I never tire of seeing them nor trying to capture them in photos. What always delights us is the variety we get to experience. Sometimes the sky is a fiery red or blazing orange and other evenings we revel in soft pastels. Mother Nature never ceases to impress.

Kate: Mother Nature is quite the artist. I don't think there is anyone create more beautiful scenery than She can. How incredibly peaceful.

By the way... I hope you know how very blessed you are to have both your daughter and your grandaughters with you. And yes... "Blessing" is the perfect word for it.

Yes, I am very blessed. Two sons live just about an hour away with their families and my daughter are her family are in Williamsburg, a little further away but I do get to see them and am very grateful for that.

Hi Alan...We are fortunate. All of our grandchildren live in Virginia although one is attending college in Washington state. We have only one son that lives out of state. Some are closer than others and we might see them more frequently. It is a wonderful thing.

Hi Gloria...I love taking photos of sunsets and also love sharing them with others. I've just posted another one.

Yes, I like the name of our company. Fortunately our main office is right on the shore and we have a boat slip there for a company pontoon we use to take out clients. Our clients really enjoy that part of the tour and it gives them a good appreciation of Lake Anna.
