15th Annual Lebanon Blues Festival August 3 2013 Features Blues, Classic Cars & Running!
Mark your calendars for the 15th annual Lebanon Blues Festival August 3 2013! It's one of the big events for Lebanon's summer season and for good measure they include a classic car show and a series of runs for those that like to lace up their shoes and go mile after mile! The Lebanon Blues Festival will be held on Mulberry Street from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday August 3th. Admission is FREE!
For the runners, there will be the Red Hot Blues Run featuring 5k, 10k, 15k and a Kids Run! Run starts at 7 p.m, check in time 4:30 p.m. Race starts in front of the Golden Lamb in downtown Lebanon. Kids Run starts at 6 p.m. Proceeds benefit the Lebanon City Parks system. Registration gets you entered in the race and a T-shirt. $25 if you pre-register, $30 day of event. Registration forms available at www.LebanonOhio.gov.
And if your preferred mode of transportation involves gas combustion, then head over to the Blues, BBQ & Bumpers Car Show! Featuring 150+ classic cars displayed on Broadway Street. Register your car on-site for $15/car. Display time is 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. and proceeds benefit the local youth via the Warrior Backpack Program! And for the Lebanon Blues Festival itself, you get 8 bands performing live!

5 p.m. The Kelly Richey Band
6:30 p.m. Gregg Clark & the Lebanon Blues All Stars
8 p.m. The Bluebirds
9:45 p.m. The Scotty Bratcher Band
There will of course be food vendors and more! And a beer garden at the end of Mulberry Street for those that want some hops with their blues!
And another cool thing about the Lebanon Blues Festival? It's the major fundraiser for the Lebanon Optimist's Club!
