DRY...WET...Dry...

WE went into last winter in a severe drought.

People were wondering what the spring would bring for the farmers.  Well, it was very very wet.  Many thousands of acres of crops didn't get planted, but we were now out of the drought.

Now, we are drying out again.  The crops are now close to where they really need the rain and the storms we were to get tonight, have passed us by.

So, tomorrow I will water my garden and hope we see some rain in the near future.

It wasjust a nice night.  Just me and my wife and 10,000,000 mosquito's.

My cousin is a farmer in Illinois. I will have to call him to see how he's doing with the corn and soybeans. I remember him telling me, he had to wait to plant in the spring due to all the rain.

Bill, We are getting some much needed wet weather here. I can however do without the the lightning, thunder and occasional hail! A nice steady rain for a short while is ideal. Hope you get some too!

I think we're almost a month without rain and it feels amazing!!  10 months of rain throughout the year is enough for me!

Here's to cloudy skies and raindrops your way William!

William, I would gladly send a few inches your directions, but I am not sure how to reverse the wind direction. Guess it has be pre-programed to blow from west to east and not the other way around. Last two years were dry here. Now this year we have had six inches more rain than normal. Ugh! We are a little soggy.
