Years ago we were chained to a desk top. Could not go anywhere with it, and had to go to the desktop to work and check emails.
For years I have had only a lap top, no desk tops. My favorite brand is Dell and I think it is most cost effective too.
I have found the general life expectancy of these lap tops to be between three and four years.
Currently I have the Dell Inspiron and I have had it for about three years now (I so hope this post does not jinx it).
My Dell Inspiron does everything my old desk tops would do. It is lightweight and easy to travel with, has video and sound capabilities and all in all is my favorite.
I strongly suggest Dell Products to everyone.
