Fair Weeks at the Carroll County Farmers Market

 

It is Summer Market time in Westminster, Maryland.  During Fair Weeks, the Carroll County Farmers Market will be located under tents next to the pond below the Agricultural Center parking lot. This change will be effective for the Summer Market dates of Saturday, July 27 and Saturday, August 3.  The hours are from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

There will be 20 or more vendors that will be selling handmade crafts, plants, fruits and vegetables.  Yes, they will also have the wonderful pies, cakes and breads.  You will have an opportunity to meet some of the people that grow your food. All of the produce is picked the day before or the day of the Summer Market.

The produce shoppers this week should be able to find peaches, cantaloupes, melons, peppers, tomatoes, potatoes, cucumbers and apples. Local sweet corn is now available. Arrive early for the best selection.

Follow the signs to the Ag Center.  There is no admission charge and parking is free.

OOOO AHHHH I am loving that pink butterfly! You should sell that print, it would make such a great addition to a nursery or something of the sort!

Oh, and love the Farmer's Markets - one of my favorite places to frequent during the summer - can't beat the fresh fare!
