I understand many of you are in a Sellers Market....a distant memory for me, however when I saw this I started remembering what can happen with Home Sellers in a Sellers Market.

I recently had something like this happen. We are in a buyer's market and while showing a home the sellers showed up. They stayed out of the way but as I was leaving, the husband approaches me and tells me they aren't just selling to anyone that shows up as they know the house is worth far more than it's listed for and they want to make sure that the buyer can properly manage the maintenance of the home.
Hi Ed...your comment reminds me years ago I had a Seller insist on choosing the Buyer not the Best offer.

Yes, I have run into this in the past. Some people are ver adament about who they will sell to.

Hi David and Nancie....I have seen several personal notes with offers when there is a bidding war here. Personally I go and if I get to present my offer tell the owner why my Client picked their home.
