Mid-Year Post - Almost There

I set some big goals for myself at the beginning of the year.  Some I've done, like re-opening my own brokerage and designing my new office and having a great reopening/grand opening/open house.

My business is going well, and I'm pretty close to being on track for my 2013 goals.  I've had some set backs as that just happens sometimes.  The month of June could have been a loss due to a fair amount of illness, and yet, I was still able to keep everything up and going though it put me a little off my paces.

So, what am I doing to make sure that I stay on track despite the vagaries of outrageous fortune?

I am working hard on the basics:

Follow up - make sure no leads fall through the cracks

Call - Contact past clients, friends, vendors to see what I can do to help them.

Write - Blogs, hand written notes.  Just keep in touch.

How about you?  How have the first six months treated you?

Christine: What a beautiful office. And congratulations on opening up your own brokerage. I have done the same here in Hawaii, and it just takes a lot of work. You'll do it, you have the drive.

Yeah, I'm all over "setbacks".  I've hit many goals but a few were missed that have cost me dearly (no website being a big one).  However, it's all coming around...

Christine,  Congratulations on re-opening your own brokerage and designing your new office. It certainly says come on in and make yourself comfortable and at home.  Illness will definitely cause set backs. Wishing you a strong and profitable 2013 and beyond.
