What's My Line - Donna Foerster - half of a well-balanced team

Seldom do you find a husband and wife real estate team with such well-balanced talents.Donna and Rich - Parker Colorado real estate experts

Donna Foerster is the "wordy" half of Metro Denver's Foerster Team. She takes care of the marketing, the blogging, and the technology. Her husband, Rich, is the detail-oriented numbers guy.

Donna's is a story of courage, the power of love, and a remarkable comeback. Just two years ago she was stricken with an illness that kept her in the hospital for 17 weeks. At one point, she was given only a 10% chance to live.

It's no wonder that she embraces life to the fullest these days!

During her illness and long recovery, Rich kept things going, but had little time for the marketing end of the business. Now Donna is going at it full-force, as is evident from her activity on Active Rain. Her blog is well-worth exploring, as she brings us everything from buyer and seller advice to news of local places and events, to just plain fun.

My prediction is that her Active Rain posts will go a long way in positioning Donna and Rich as Parker, Colorado's resident experts.

The Foerster Team is also changing directions. They've been focused on short sales through these years of market upheaval, and now are turning their attention to the demographic group they know best: Baby Boomers. They've already made a foothold in this market via their volunteer activities with the Rocky Mountain Alzheimer's Association and the Arthritis Foundation.

The plan is set - and in action.

Donna just completed a mid-year review of their marketing efforts and has an ambitious plan laid out for the second half of 2013. That plan includes building a Foerster Team Website, increasing contact with their past clients and sphere of influence, along with reaching out to the Baby Boomers in their area. Of course, she'll continue to blog and to network locally.

Recognizing that there are only so many hours in a day, and some of them should be reserved for family, she's also working hard to resist adding any activities that aren't already in the plan.

Donna - You have my admiration, and my best wishes for your boundless success!

Wow! I can feel Donna's energy coming through in your blog post! I loved reading about how she and Rich bring different sets of skills and strengths to their real estate practice...and to one another! I also loved the last thing you wrote,

"Recognizing that there are only so many hours in a day, and some of them should be reserved for family, she's also working hard to resist adding any activities that aren't already in the plan." I need to make that my motto, too!

Nina - Most of us would do well to follow her lead on that one.
