I have a problem with the Real Estate "agents" in My Town that continue to take, usually drastically, OVERPRICED listings! Notice: I used the term "agents" for those of you that practice taking over-priced listings. There are many other terms I'd prefer to use. I consider the rest of us to be Consultants & Realtors. I'm calling you out, because you know who you are. Actually, what's even scarier is that maybe you don't know who you are. I DO! Don't you know that you have a responsibility to the community to do the research & educate? It's interesting to see a listing come on the market, OVERPRICED, that I decided not to take. That's right, I decided not to take some of these listings after speaking with the unrealistic "would-be" sellers. The problem is that one of these "agents" was lurking in the bushes waiting to pounce. The only bit of advice that I can offer to these "over-pricers" is to learn how to have respect for our community, for your business, and for the rest of us that are busting our asses to HELP this community. What's the downside of turning down a listing that you know will sit on the market for 100, 200, 300, etc days? Or, is it that you don't have the sense to know that? Do you have too much money and just want to market a home til the cows come home?

Do you have too much time on your hands?
Or, are you just uneducated? That could just be it!

Anybody that would like to learn how to easily price a home to sell, I'm not hiding. You can find me. DuPont is one of the easiest places to sell a home, seriously. ROCK ON DuPont!

Corey, I am now going to have to go and look at your area in the MLS!! lol!! You would think a market time of over 200 days would give someone a flippin clue!!! - cute post :)
