Once again my Active Rain blog strikes gold!
A few weeks ago I posted a blog about being picked up by a local RI newspaper and having an article published. I'm including the link here.

Basically, I talked about how the newspaper found my AR blogs and asked if they could use one as a "fill in" for a regular contributor who happened to miss a deadline. Free advertising? That's a no brainer! Of course I said Yes!. I received lots of comments from local friends and family members all positive. I posted it on Facebook and was very proud that I was published.
Here we are 4 weeks later and to my astonishment I have been published 2 more times in that same East Bay Newspaper.

I've been on AR for 1 year now and I've been slowly indoctrinating myself into the world of blogging. Some days are easier then others, but overall I love it. My blogs range from local market statistics, plugs for local area business in Rhode Island, and general information buyers & sellers might find helpful.
There are people out there reading our blogs. I see visitors on my website who have come via one of my AR blogs. Now the local area newspaper is using my blogs fairly regularly. That's HUGE when it comes to marketing myself. In a nutshell, if you don't think anyone other then AR members read your blog....you are incorrect.
I've struck gold with my Active Rain blog and you can as well.
